Are you covered?

	Under the Corporate Manslaughter Act (2008) it is imperative that the right level of insurance cover is in place to protect companies, directors, senior managers, individual members and their assets.
	You have a statutory requirement under the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) to insure against engineering plant such as boilers, lifts and air-conditioning units, where a failure to comply could result in a fine or worse.
	Under the Environmental Protection Act (1990, Part IIA) a person or company knowingly committing contamination of land will be liable for the resultant legal defence costs.
